Created in 1994 by an engineer and a surgical dentist, Bio Composants Médicaux is an SME specialized in the study and the development of composite materials applied to medical and dental devices. Focusing entirely on the future, BCM works on new CAD/CAM and 3D applications. Holder of many patents in the dental field, Bio Composants Médicaux inspired trust amongst several key parties in the dental sector thanks to its innovation and manufacturing capacity according to medical requirements.
Bio Composants Médicaux is implanted in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This region is the cradle of fiber posts and intraoral cameras. Grenoble is considered to be the “French Silicon Valley” thanks to its innovating poles in electronics and high-end technologies.
The multidisciplinary BCM team consists of professionals and experts within their respective domains of activity, dental implantologist surgeon, chemical engineer, mechanical engineer, biomaterial engineer, who unite their forces to offer a wide range of products constantly evolving and deposit numerous patents annually.
More specifically, BCM has its own research and development structure, guarantor of its autonomy in manufacturing new materials and technologies, spending more than 10% of its sales in R&D and innovating each year, both in products and fabrication methods.
